Sooo…it’s hard to find some spare time even when it seems like there’s nothing but time. If you’re not running after your children (or your pets, or your hubby, or whoever keeps you running around), I’m sure you’re doing a hundred other things–cooking, trying not to rip out your hair, hopefully showering once in a while. I’m also pretty positive that the last thing on your mind is cleaning the house.
Oh, cleaning. The bane of our existence. (If you happen to love cleaning, please disregard my whining. It’s just not my thing, okay? Let me wallow for five more seconds.)
Okay, I’m ready.
So, I’m not asking you to do a full deep clean of the house. For now, I just want you to focus on decluttering. See, doesn’t sound as bad as cleaning, right?
Go to your closet. Open the junk drawer in the kitchen. Pull out the plastic tote from under your bed. See where I’m going with this? We all have places in our homes that get cluttered easily. Things get shoved into dark corners, socks are crammed into the back of the drawer so that it won’t close all the way anymore, knick knacks collect dust bunnies that would rival the one that comes at Easter.
I get it; life happens to all of us, and some things just don’t seem as important as others. But let’s use our time wisely to be productive and get shit DONE, girl.
You pick a drawer. I’ll pick a shelf. Let’s declutter our lives one area at a time, and maybe at the end of all of this, we’ll both be far less stressed (and more likely to still have a full head of hair LOL).
