Our Signature Session includes three outfits, but you’re welcome to bring more than three. Options are good! We’ll help you narrow it down.
The best piece of advice we can give you for your wardrobe is this: don’t stress it. Choose your favorite pieces, the things that make you feel most like yourself, and it will all come together.
Here are some suggestions:
Lingerie is optional
If you have a favorite piece of lingerie, bring it. If you’ve always wanted to buy lingerie, but don’t own any, BUY SOME, GIRL. Beyond that, it’s absolutely not required. Lingerie is lovely for a boudoir shoot, but don’t limit yourself to bras and panties. Some of our favorite non-lingerie pieces are fitted T-shirts, flannel button-ups, denim jackets, and bulky sweaters.
Personalize it
Nothing makes your session more YOU than incorporating things that are unique to you or your significant other. Some things we’ve seen in the past are uniforms, significant others’ clothing (like a business shirt or tie), musical instruments, sports jerseys, sentimental jewelry, and wedding day accessories. We love layers because they offer so much versatility in the poses, so don’t forget to pack your favorite worn-in cardigan or treat yourself to a new silk robe while you’re out shopping!
Come naked
Yes, we are big fans of the nude photo shoot. Of course, we suggest wearing clothes on your drive to the studio. But once you’re here (and safely inside the building), you are totally free to change into your birthday suit or wrap up in a classic white sheet. In our opinion, it’s the simplest answer to the whole wardrobe thing. We will guide you in tasteful poses, and we even offer a bath tub set if you have any interest in adding that on to your session (let us know in advance so we can plan ahead!).
