Whether you have a specific idea in mind for the overall tone/mood you’re wanting for your pics, or if you’re just getting started, having a mood board is a great place to start!
We’d like to encourage you to set up a Pinterest board full of ideas for your shoot that can be shared with us! Pin things like makeup inspo, boudoir pics, outfits you like, shoes & accessories – anything that’s got you excited about your shoot that you’d like to use for inspiration, girl! This’ll help us both be on the same page as we’re prepping for your shoot, and will help us finalize your finished looks! That way, when your shoot day arrives, everything will flow seamlessly.
Okay, here’s how to set up a board:
- Go to your Pinterest page (Need help creating an account? Click here for a step-by-step guide)
- Click on your profile
- On the righthand side of the page, click on the “+” button and then click “board”
- Create a name for your board, like “Shoot Inspo” or “UNVEILED Shoot,” whatever will help you know where to pin things! *Hint* You can also choose to make your board secret if you don’t want anyone else to see it!
- After creating the board, Pinterest will pull up some options for you. If you find something you like, pin it! If not, simply go to your home feed and start searching, making sure to add anything you like to your new board 🙂
- Once you’re feelin’ good about your board, share it with us! Simply go into the board and click on the “+” button by your profile icon, which will bring up a window to invite collaborators. Search for “UNVEILED” and we should pop up (we have the pink icon 😉). Click “invite” and then we’ll be able to see your board and chat about all the things with you! Easy peasy 💗
